30 Jan 2017

The Forum met for the second time on 30 January 2017 to continue its work on design and delivery of its Strategy.

The Forum welcomed new Member Tony Shaw of Tesco Plc, who will represent the retail community on behalf of the British Retail Consortium and discussed an approach and funding proposal for 2017.

Phillip McHugh and Otto Benz shared some initial work on the New Payments Architecture Design Hub, and Russell Saunders and Neil Lover also shared the work of Financial Crime Working Group.

Ruth Evans, the Forums’ Chair said:

‘I am delighted that Tony Shaw will be joining us to continue representation of the broad range of end-users in Payments.

There is much work to be done in 2017 so we cannot afford to stand still if we want to drive the Strategy through its next phase of work’.
